Committeeman • Coeur d'Alene, Idaho
Your neighbor. Your voice in the Republican Party. Faith, Family, and Freedom — and the standard I'll defend on the Kootenai County Republican Central Committee.
About Joe
I'm Joe Fisher, and I live right here in Precinct 404 in Coeur d'Alene. I'm running for Republican Precinct Committeeman because I believe the people in our neighborhood deserve a voice in the party who actually listens — someone who shows up, follows through, and keeps you informed.
This isn't about climbing a political ladder. It's about making sure the Republican Party in Kootenai County reflects the values of the people it serves — Faith, Family, and Freedom. That starts at the grassroots level, and it starts with us.
I'm proud to be endorsed by Commissioners Bruce Mattare and Marc Eberlein, Coroner Duke Johnson, Sheriff Bob Norris, and Rep. Joe Alfieri — and to be a recommended candidate of the Kootenai Freedom Caucus.
The Role
A Precinct Committeeman (PC) is the most local elected position in the Republican Party — and the foundation of everything the party does in Kootenai County. We're the only party officials elected directly by our neighbors, on the same May primary ballot as your senators and commissioners.
As your PC, I would serve a two-year term on the Kootenai County Republican Central Committee (KCRCC) — the official county party body. Here's what that actually means in practice:
It's a small job with outsized influence. Roughly 200 PCs run the entire Kootenai County Republican Party. The race is decided by a few hundred neighbors at most — which is why every door, every vote, and every empty meeting seat matters.
My Platform
Faith, Family, and Freedom aren't slogans. They're the standard I will defend at every KCRCC meeting and in every party vote — for our neighbors in Precinct 404 and for Kootenai County.
Parents — not bureaucrats, not unions — direct the education and upbringing of their children. I'll back candidates and policies that put families back in charge of the classroom.
The unborn deserve the full protection of the law. I will support every Republican who defends the sanctity of life from conception.
Sexually explicit material and political ideology don't belong in front of children. I'll back candidates who keep our schools and public libraries focused on learning, not activism.
Enforce the laws on the books. Idaho workers, families, and communities deserve a labor market that isn't undercut by businesses hiring illegally.
RCV is a confusing scheme designed to dilute the conservative vote. I'll oppose every effort to bring it to Idaho.
Idahoans are getting squeezed. I'll back leaders who deliver real property tax relief and rein in the spending that drives it.
Coeur d'Alene is being changed by developers and outside money faster than our infrastructure or our character can keep up. Smart, accountable growth — not a free-for-all.
Precinct 404 deserves a representative who is actually in the room when decisions are made. Consistent attendance isn't a virtue — it's the job.
Endorsements
I'm honored to have earned the support of conservative officials who are doing the work — in the courthouse, in the legislature, and on the streets — to keep Kootenai County a stronghold of common-sense, Faith-Family-Freedom Republican leadership.
The Kootenai Freedom Caucus has named me to its slate of Precinct Committeeman candidates "Defending Faith, Family & Freedom" — alongside the conservative leaders working to keep Kootenai County's Republican Party grounded in the values our neighbors actually hold.
